Content Curator

We are looking for a Content Curator who will help Ministry Pass members and visitors to the site navigate our wide library of sermon content by making resources searchable, visible, and accessible. 

About Ministry Pass:

At Ministry Pass, we know pastors are often under-resourced, burned out, and frustrated with their church’s progress. We create resources and platforms so churches can accelerate their growth and pastors can achieve a healthy ministry/life balance.

Ministry Pass is a teaching resource and multimedia service for pastors. We specialize in sermon series materials and promotional artwork that is of high theological and artistic value. We exist to help church leaders:

  • Communicate more efficiently and effectively
  • Grow their congregations through discipleship and evangelism
  • Have more time to study the Word and minister to their congregations on a weekly basis

The Role of a Content Curator:

The Content Curator will be responsible for creating and organizing collection of Ministry Pass resources that will be highlighted on the site and featured in our marketing and social media campaigns.

Job Description:

  • Curating collections of media and sermon resources for email marketing. 
  • Curating collections of media and sermon resources to be highlighted on social media. 
  • Creating collections every month of various topics, books of the Bible, and seasons of the year. 
  • Updating collections of media and sermon resources that will be featured on Ministry Pass. 
  • Creating blogs highlighting various collections of sermon series and resources.
  • Creating blogs highlighting resources available to Ministry Pass members. 
  • Creating an index of content on Ministry Pass to help pastors preach through the Bible. 
  • Creating an index of topics on the Ministry Pass site to help users find resources by topic. 
  • Creating collections on Series Ideas, a free site owned by Ministry Pass.

Key Skills: 

  • Biblical literacy
    You will need a grasp of the organization of the Bible as well as a familiarity with the major themes and connecting threads throughout the biblical narrative. 
  • Organizational skills
    You will need to organize large and diverse amounts of information.
  • Familiarity with WordPress or similar platforms
    You will need to navigate the backend of our WordPress hosted site, create pages, and edit pages.
  • Keen investigative skills
    You will need to familiarize yourself with a very large library of resources, and find the best categories for collections and search optimization.
  • Sharp writing skills 
    You will need to be able to write blogs that will feature different sermon series.
  • Time management skills
    You will need to be able to manage your time and priorities to reach goals and meet project deadlines.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
    You will need to ensure that collections include relevant resources and search results are accurate.
  • Self-Starter
    You will need to be able to move projects forward and set your own goals.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate across teams
    You will need to work with different teams and team members to create and share resource collections.

Your Schedule:

  • This role offers the option to work remote or in-office* with our team. Our normal working hours are 9-5, but employees are allowed flexible hours for family obligations.
    *Office located in Magnolia, TX
