Hey everyone, I’m Justin Trapp, and this is Ministry Minute.
When star athletes trade touchdowns for testimonies, revival isn’t far behind.
In the fall of 2024, hundreds of students gathered outside Curl Market at Ohio State University for a campus worship night.
No one expected what would happen next.
The Power of a Public Story
Buckeye football players Emeka Egbuka, Gee Scott Jr., and others shared what Jesus had done in their lives, not from a pulpit, but from a simple stage on the lawn.
Their honesty broke something open. Students began praying, repenting, and deciding to follow Jesus.
Baptism Under the Stars
Then came the moment that changed everything.
Four tubs were set up near the crowd, and one after another, students stepped forward to be baptized, right there under the stars.
By the end of the night, more than sixty had gone public with their faith.
A Contagious Faith
It was raw, unpolished, and powerful. It’s a reminder that the gospel isn’t meant to stay private.
When stories of redemption are shared out loud, faith multiplies.
When baptisms are public, belief becomes contagious.
What would it look like for your church to give more space for that?
Moments where people share how Jesus changed them, and moments where they declare it through baptism?
Sometimes revival doesn’t begin with a sermon. It begins with a story.
I’m Justin Trapp, and this has been your Ministry Minute.
