Ministry Pass Content Writer
Join the Ministry Pass team as a content writer! Positions are part time, project based, and remote.
Job Description
As a part of Ministry Pass’s Content Team, a writer will:
- Produce one or two projects each month (10-20 hours total).
- Craft Sermon Series Guides that include a biblical text, "Big Idea," and an application point for each week of the sermon series. These guides will also include several bite-sized chunks of information, inspiration, and creativity related to the "Big Idea."
- Write dynamic, discussion-sparking small group questions.
- Brainstorm creative angles to communicate God's Word.
- Make prompt revisions to edited work.
Requirements & Skills
- Writing experience.
- Displayed strengths in grammar, punctuation, spelling, and style consistency.
- Knowledge of best practices for citing resources.
- At least three years of ministry experience.
- Theological education (graduate preferred, but not required).
- Strong exegetical skills.
- Access to high-quality theological sources.
- A skill for finding high-quality, relevant sermon illustrations.
- A desire and ability to apply biblical truths to the modern world.
- Ability to prioritize and complete assigned tasks within identified time frames.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
