One of the most engaging and invite-friendly types of sermon series you can preach is one where you answer the questions everyone is asking in their heads. If you want people to invite their friends, if you want people to talk about the sermon with their co-workers, You Asked for It is a great sermon series to preach.
You Asked for It is a five-week sermon series dissecting tough issues that are often challenging to talk about in church. There are two ways that you can plan this series.
1. Conduct a poll and have your congregation submit four issues for you to teach on.
2. Follow our sermon series guide where each week looks at a different passage from the Psalms, investigating not only the biblical stance on each topic but also how believers can approach God concerning these often-divisive issues. This series guide will assist you as you explore biblical answers to difficult questions. Each week also includes a relevant New Testament passage for further input on these challenging matters. Topics include politics, depression, sexuality, and materialism.
In the You Asked for It sermon series download, you’ll get our series guide that will help you prepare each sermon, graphics to use to promote and present the series and sermons, Photoshop layers so you can modify graphics how you’d like, small group questions to help your congregation continue to wrestle with each topic, and more.
