This sermon looks at one of the most quoted verses in the book of Jeremiah: Jeremiah 29:11. We take this verse out of context when we believe that God will allow only good things to happen to us. Looking at it in context reveals that it is a promise of delayed relief to those deep in suffering, not a promise that we will never encounter suffering.
