Have you ever dealt with a know-it-all? It’s incredibly annoying. If you have any reasonable amount of knowledge about something they’re describing, you will immediately recognize them as a fraud. They may be smart, but they overstate their knowledge. A few simple, knowledgeable questions about the topic will have the person squirming and make everyone else in the room aware of their charade. Having a know-it-all attitude can create major problems in our relationship with God. We need to adopt humility, recognizing God’s ways are higher than our ways. He invites us to engage him with our minds, but this will alway involve humility.
