Check Engine Light

Warning signs are all around. A great way of seeing this might be the check engine light in a car. Based on the manufacturer and the overall intent of the designers, the vehicle is built to run a certain way. When you buy the car, you know it’s not just a possibility that something might go wrong—it’s guaranteed that eventually something will go wrong. We are taught to pay attention to the dash lights and heed the warnings. We don’t need to worry about when it will break or have a problem, but we do need to watch for signs that a problem exists. When the problem arises, we know to take steps to address the problem. It does us no good to stress about the potential of the problem or the various things that could go wrong. We just need to be mindful of what could happen and be ready to act.
