God on Film — 2019 is a 4-week at the movies sermon series, using blockbuster spring and summer films to reflect on one question: What is God like?
We all like to think we’re the writer and director of our own lives, but we all live under the sovereignty of another Power. God is in control of the universe, yet his love and goodness compel him to provide us redemption through Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection.
Each message in this “at the movies” sermon series comes with a biblical text(s) and reference to a spring or summer 2019 film to illustrate some of the issues discussed in that passage.
