During a quarterly call with shareholders, the CEO of Netflix discussed the company’s competition. He doesn’t see Netflix’s competitors as other streaming services; instead, the top competition for Netflix is sleep. He has discussed this before. As he said at one point during the call, “When you watch a show from Netflix and you get addicted to it, you stay up late at night.
