Loving others isn’t easy. It requires selflessness and intentionality. It means embracing awkward situations, at times. It means doing more than sitting on the couch and eating pizza. When people watch our lives and the way we love others, they should be drawn to the person of Jesus. Starting in the Old Testament, and moving through the Gospels and Paul’s letters, this series looks at how God expects us to fulfill this command today. Each week’s discussion considers the different aspects of love as depicted in that particular text. The topics include: justice, forgiveness, mercy, salvation, and self-sacrifice. “Watch Me” culminates in an appeal to receive Christ’s love ourselves and to share it with those around us. This is a great series to encourage your students to share their faith with others.
